I was born in Bethnal Green, East London in 1980 and spent much of my childhood and early adult life in Cambridgeshire before settling on the South Coast in 2015.

My recruitment career began in 2004 with a construction recruitment consultancy based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. During those early years, I was fortunate to work alongside some fantastic people who became great mentors and helped shape my approach to recruitment.

When the global recession hit in 2008, the construction sector was heavily impacted and, like many others at the time, I found myself facing redundancy. Rather than leaving the industry, I took the opportunity to build something of my own and launched my first independent recruitment consultancy in 2009.

Since then, I have remained dedicated to the construction and built environment sectors, building long-standing relationships with contractors and professionals across the UK. What began with a focus on Building and Fit-Out recruitment has evolved into supporting clients across the Construction, Fit-Out, and M&E Building Services sectors.

Throughout my career, I have always believed that successful recruitment is built on trust, honesty, professionalism, and long-term relationships. My approach has never been about sending large volumes of CVs or making speculative introductions. Instead, I focus on understanding the needs of both clients and candidates, ensuring every recommendation is made with care and consideration.

Outside of work, family is hugely important to me. My wife and I have four children, and much of my spare time is spent enjoying family life, following football, and spending time with friends and loved ones.
